The white tailed spider.
A white tailed spider is a spider that has palps to taste its food and to groom its body.
A white tail doesn’t spin a web. It uses other spiders webs to get a spider.
A white tailed spider has a long dark, gray body and a white patch at the end. The white tailed spider has some orange brown bands around its legs. A white tailed spider has special tufts of hair at the end of its legs so they can stick to smooth and sloping surfaces easily.
A white tailed spider lives under a plant and bark.
A white tailed spider injects other spiders with venom and then kills it and eats it. A white tailed spider has been known to bite people in NZ.
