Here are my Team 1 2018 Learning Goals.

Recount Writing at the tangi.

At the tangi.

On Sunday morning my family and I went to the tangi at Matawaia because my cousin passed away.

First when we got there we put our taua on our head so we could go into the marae to hariru the people.

Next after my papa did a mihi my nana sung a song for my papa. She sang Ko te Aroha.

After that Naki said, “Should we go into the bush?”  Treah, Joeche, Naki and I went into the boush and I almost slipped.

I felt as hot as burning fire.  

Then we all went onto the other side and my namesake was waiting for us at the tunnels.

Later on we went to our cars. We turned the car on and listened to music on the way to go to drop off Nanama, the kids and my namesake.

Finally we went home but before we watched a movie we had to turn the tv on. Then we watched a movie and had dinner and I stayed up till my bedtime at 8 o'clock.
